September 25th- 35 years and Counting

On September 25th 1976 Tom and I were formally introduced by a mutual friend. She served us Chef Boyardee pizza (burnt). The rest as they say is history. Every year on September 25th we celebrate with a pizza. In the years to come we added beer, our favorite as teen agers was Genesee Cream Ale. Beer was legal back then for 18 year olds as long as it was only 3.2% alcohol or less. Not that we were 18 but . . . We did actually go out to dinner also. Our neighbor had given Tom $100 gift certificate for helping him in his yard.
This year I came across Tom's "letter" and made him a blanket in our HS colors and added the letter along with his name and number. He changed his number to 52 that year (he couldn't wear 25 as a guard).

Here's to another 35 years with my best friend

Donations Needed

SPEA

Suicide Prevention Education Alliance

My nephew died of a self inflicted gun shot wound

on May 30,2011. He was only 21.

On Sunday October 2 we will be attending the annual

which supports the SPEA

Suicide is the third leading cause of death in teens.

Eight percent of teens attempt suicide.

Please make a donation in honor of Andrew and let's do what we can to prevent this tragedy from happening to another family.

My sister's workplace has graciously offered to match all donations made for Team Dalton. Follow my link and donate on line. Make sure to check the box for matching donations and 100%. The name of the company is TempleInland.

Quick No Picture Update

I can't believe it's been two weeks since I've updated!
It's not that there's nothing going on here. In no particular order.

Thomas & I finished up our class together on Photoshop Elements

I crashed my laptop again.
It was in the shop for less than a week this time.

I have hundreds of pictures to edit (that's just from the last 2 weeks)

Ella started First Grade and Jack started pre school

The county was shut down because of flooding

Sami is wearing panties (it only took a few M&M's, Who knew?)

Tom & I joined a gym with a play area for Sami

Wyatt & Piper (and their parents) may be moving back to Maryland

Tom and I started Foster Care Parent training (we're still on the fence)

I guess that's quick and to the point. Tomorrow Lily comes to visit, maybe I'll be focused enough to post the pictures I take.

A Quick visit with Wyatt & Piper

Jennifer and I had a chance to see these two Sweeties for a couple of hours. We met at McDonalds with a play area and had a great visit.
He's such a good big brother.Wyatt was happy to play with other little kids. Somewhat like his big cousin, Ella, who makes friends wherever she goes.I know he's not suppose to have food on the equipment but he was so stinkin cute and I don't get to see him enough to say no to him.He wasn't ready to eat right away so he started off with a milkshake.Come to think of it I don't think he ate at all while he was there, that's ok his sister more than made up for it.Aunt Nenni sure did enjoy all the one on one time she was able to have with the little Princess P. Two generations of pretty!

It was a busy weekend and i plan on posting about the rest of it but the computerS are acting up so I wanted to get this posted while I could. More to come!
