Who are these children you say? Is anyone still confused?
This was us at the end of last year
Count them,we had six sweeties.
Then in June we got our first call for a Foster Child and brought this four pound bundle of joy home from the hospital.
Add one Sweetie
Two months later he had more than doubled his weight and went to live with his grandparents
but wait you say there are two MORE sweeties in this picture
These brothers at six and five years old came to stay with Thomas and Natalilie as their first Foster Care placement only one day after we got ours.
They are still with us but their parents are working on making a home for them. They were tickled to find stockings with their names at our house.
A couple of days before our first baby went home we got a call for this little guy. He was only with us for two weeks before he went to stay with his Aunt and Uncle
Our two redheaded Sweeties, Ella 7 who was diagnosed with Mitochodrial Disease this year and Sami 3, have been sisters to "the boys". They act like they have always known each other and seem to really prefer sharing their room.WYATT will be four on Dec 23rd |
Charlie and Michele's two.
Piper has turned into a Mother Hen
PIPER turned two in October |
LILY was two in June |
Jennifer and Shawn's two have been with us most of the year while Shawn has been deployed.
Jack was four in March and diagnosed with ADHD a couple of months ago. We sure are going to miss this bundle of loving energy when they leave us in January.
We were without a baby for a couple of weeks when we got another call. We would be bringing home another one from the hospital but no baby this time. This time it was for a four year old insulin dependent diabetic. After spending four days with him in the hospital learning how to treat his disease he came home with us. He has been with us for over two months now.
and there you have it
Life is good!
